Seeping Through The Cracks is a piece for wind quintet I had written in February 2024. I wrote this piece because I felt I needed to reel back and limit myself as a composer and think on a smaller scale, as most of my compositions tend to be overdramatic and feature huge blaring full orchestras. Seeping Through The Cracks is about riding on a boat, feeling distressed about life, and just as water seeps through the cracks in the boat, feelings of worry and dread seep into the soul.
