Jacob’s Theme was composed in late May, and early June of 2024. Jacob Cintronelle had commissioned me to write this piece as a sort of “theme song” for himself to play when he enters a room. The lyrics were made by Jacob himself in a total time of 7 seconds on the fly. He wanted electric guitar and trumpet, and I figured since Jacob has an amazingly high range on the trumpet, why not exaggerate that and make the trumpet part go (almost) impossibly high! A theme meant to embody all of his pure testosterone.
