Falling Forever is a piece written out of pure pettiness. This is a revised/rearranged version of a song of the same title I composed back in August 2021. After I made this piece my friend David Longfoot fell in love with it and praised it, and I felt it was not that good, so I set out to make the same song except better this time, and spent over $200 paying musicians on Fiverr to play it down. This piece was finished in July 2022. All the instruments heard are real instrument recordings. I revised the pacing and added a variety of contrasting sections to make the end hit harder, and topped it all off with all the instruments being played by musicians. This piece was composed with the basic idea of starting with a chord and only moving one note of it down in half steps, and I wanted to see how far I could stretch this compositional idea into a full piece. David still prefers the original version of this piece to this day.
