Dad Walmart is a song created by Benjamin Isamoyer and myself during a sleepover where we attempted to make an album in just one day. We wrote a 4 track album entitled Dadderies within 7 hours. Dad Walmart is the 3rd track off this album, and a fan favorite. After this Ben and I saw the true potential in our song, and wanted to make a studio quality remaster of it. However, despite theorizing about the possibility of remastering it for a very long time, it never came to fruition. On May 26th, 2023, we performed Dad Walmart live which garnered massive attention to this song! We performed under the band name Wacky Khaki Daddies. The crowd went nuts for it. This had refueled our passion for this song once again, and we decided we were going to make a remaster, thus giving us Dad Walmart (2023 Remaster). Dad Walmart (2023 Remaster) serves as one final hurrah for Dad Walmart so we went all out. We created a music video, gathering as many people together as we could to be involved on this project, having them all record their voice on the track. Dad Walmart (2023 Remaster) is the final song the Wacky Khaki Daddies will ever write, releasing on August 3, 2023.
